The Kanjivaram saree is South India's crown jewel — lustrous sheen, bold borders and gleaming putta (butta) motifs. But classic pure-silk Kanjivarams can be heavy, delicate and expensive. Enter the Kanjivaram semi-silk (soft-silk) saree — the same regal look, lighter, easier to wear and far more affordable.
What is soft silk?
Soft silk (semi-silk) is a silk blend engineered for a smooth, lustrous finish with a lighter, more fluid drape than pure silk — you keep the shine and structured fall without the weight.
Woven with Jacquard precision
Our sarees are woven on precision Jacquard power looms, so the big gold and copper putta and the 2-inch/3-inch borders come out crisp, symmetrical and consistent across the whole drape.
Quality you can feel — 4 to 5 hours per saree
Each saree takes 4–5 hours to weave — that extra time shows in a finer weave, cleaner putta and a smoother dana-textured feel.
