Handloom sarees are woven by hand — beautiful, often with tiny natural irregularities, usually slower to make and pricier. Power-loom sarees are woven on a mechanised loom: with Jacquard pattern control, the weave is uniform, the motifs crisp and aligned, and the finish reliable — which is exactly why power looms produce intricate putta and clean borders so beautifully, at an accessible price.
